It's difficult to separate the director-producer and actor in Farhan Akhtar, for he's forever honing his acting skills, thinking of a marketing strategy to promote his films or of different angles to make his stars look larger than life.

But today he's in a different mood. He keeps aside the Don 2 script he's been working on and gets talking about his hot co-star from Kartik Calling Kartik, Deepika Padukone. Male bonding has always been a strong theme in Farhan Akhtar's career as a director and actor and so he is now excited about starring along with Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol in sister Zoya Akhtar's new film.

"Having two friends like Hrithik and Abhay Deol to do this male bonding film with me is a blessing. Abhay I've known from the time he stepped into my role in Reema Kagti's 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd'. I get along famously with both of them. So shooting this male-bonding film with Hrithik and Abhay in Spain should be loads of fun," Farhan told IANS.

Farhan Akhtar was mobbed at an awards function in Kanpur recently. As a result, the Rock On!! star had to be locked inside a room for over an hour till the crowds dispersed. The director-actor was attending the Madhavrao Scindia Awards ceremony where he was honoured for outstanding performance in cinema.

A group of 20-25 youngsters landed at the Kochi Fort where they were shooting and did not allow them to shoot until both Deepika and Farhan danced with them to the tunes of Rock On!!.

Its heard that the final script of the flick is ready and Shah Rukh has even kept dates for the flick but after the thumping success of ROCK ON, Farhan Akhtar is bitten by the acting bug and now-a-days is more gung-ho about acting assignments rather than direction. Tough apparently SRK was keen to finish the film this year but it wasn't possible, as Farhan had other commitments. While next year SRK's dates are committed to Anubhav Sinha's RA-1 and Farah Khan's HAPPY NEW YEAR.
