There was a time when the names Salim-Javed were thought of together. Then a rift tore the duo apart. But it seems the time has arrived when the differences seem almost forgotten, at least by Salim.

Recently, after the success of 'Rock On', Salim invited Farhan Akhtar to his home, and gave the young star a grand treatment. He praised the multifaceted performer's movie to great lengths, and Farhan was really touched by his warmth and sincere feelings.

But then Salim did a thing that took Farhan completely by surprise; he gifted his Filmfare trophy to the young lad. The gesture moved Farhan so much, that after a few speechless seconds, he couldn't control his tears. For Farhan this was a very touching moment, especially as he fully appreciates the great artistic legacy Javed had shared with Salim, he being a performer, and musician himself.

One can just say, when artistry flows in the blood, true sentiments are given their due, and regarded with high esteem.
